Mario Arlati turns Hotel Cristallo into a masterpiece of art
The luxurious Hotel Cristallo in Cortina d’Ampezzo, opened in 1901, celebrates its 120 years with a videomapping artwork created by artist Mario Arlati. The project, realized in collaboration with Contini Art Gallery, will be illuminated on February 7th during the opening ceremony of the World Ski Championships. The luminous installation represents a symbol of unity and optimism, reflecting the connection with the community and contemporary art. Inside the Hotel also, a solo exhibition by the artist brings together the Incomplete Flags series, the same artworks recreated and projected outdoors, displayed here in all their materiality.
This event marks the beginning of a series of artistic initiatives both inside and outside the hotel throughout the year.
