Life is truly a great gift that belongs neither to us nor to others. Peace is the only possible path to save life, to live it fully and harmoniously. Peace is a profound feeling that must accompany us in all the moments of our lives. War exists because there is no sense of peace for the individual and for others. If one does not this feeling, one cannot transmit it.

The works of Uruguayan artist Pablo Atchugarry will be the protagonists of the personal exhibition ‘Messaggi di Pace’ that will open to the public on Saturday 14 September at 5.30 p.m. in the millenary spaces of the Abbey Church of Rosazzo. The exhibition is hosted as part of the ‘Art to Believe’ biennial event held by the Abbey of Rosazzo, now in its 12th edition with the contribution of the municipalities of Manzano, Corno di Rosazzo, San Giovanni al Natisone, the Regione Autonoma Friuli Venezia Giulia, the Fondazione Friuli and many other local companies. On display are impressive sculptural works in Carrara statuary marble, olive wood and bronze, as well as carborundum engravings.
