Overview
In the unique context of the city of Venice, the exhibition “Las Meninas a San Marco” will offer a stimulating overview of the multiform sculptural experiments of one of the greatest exponents of the contemporary international art scene.
Manolo Valdés' exhibition Las Meninas a San Marco is organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Venice, Vela S.p.a., and the Soprintendenza Archeologia, Belle Arti e Paesaggio for the Municipality of Venice and Laguna and will be open until 15 June 2024. Twelve Reina Mariana and a monumental Infanta Margherita will be placed in Piazzetta San Marco while Mariposas, which explores the theme of butterflies so beloved by the artist, will be exhibited not far away, along Riva Ca' di Dio. Diadema will instead be located in the Arsenale.
