Igor Mitoraj: Versilia Yachting Rendez Vous, Viareggio

The Versilia Yachting Rendez Vous event offers a display of a wide range of nautical offerings and all related sectors such as design, fashion and art. It is in this panorama that the Contini Art Gallery and Atelier Mitoraj are intervening with the installation of eight spectacular monumental sculptures by renowned artist Igor Mitoraj, a sculptor deeply connected to the area having moved to Versilia since the late 1980s and established his atelier in Pietrasanta.

Thanks to Versilia Yachting Rendez Vous, in collaboration with the Contini Art Gallery and Atelier Mitoraj, strolling among the most innovative and exclusive stands of this constantly developing and fermenting reality, one has the opportunity to pause and contemplate these magnificent sculptures, fragments of a seemingly distant dimension that nevertheless continues to communicate.
