Alberto Luca Recchi was born in Rome on November 15, 1955. A renowned explorer and underwater photographer, he was able to combine his techniques with his love for the sea and its living inhabitants. Since 1972 he has dedicated his time to photography and since 1983 to scuba diving. This combination became the base for his artistic production which developed through books and a successful series of photographs that reached across Europe and the United States, including one book of photographs for the National Geographic magazine. The artistry of his snapshots poetically tells us about the sea, cradle of humanity and nature.
